Getting these in early...offensively Colorado can match up with just about anyone in the nation. Alabama hasn't fared well on neutral courts this season. They have five losses to Seton Hall, Iowa, Oklahoma State, St. Peters, and Kentucky. Alabama's neutral court PPG margin is -6 while Colorado's is +0.6. Colorado is now in position to play the revenge card on the NCAA. An NIT win won't be the same as a shot in the NCAA but it will be a championship for a senior class that deserves it.
On the other side, Wichita St. crashes the boards like animals, they rank 4th on the defensive side and 63rd on the offensive side. This will be a major issue for Washington State. They rank 288th in the country in offensive rebounding percentage. Wichita State is 7-1 against the spread in their last eight neutral site games as a favorite. Washington State is 9-23-1 against the spread in their last 33 games as an underdog of 0.5-6.5. Washington State is going to be a big favorite in the PAC 10 next season but right now it's about the juniors and seniors at Wichita St. Experience is a great thing so I expect the leadership of Murry, Durley, and Kyles to put together an impressive performance from the perimeter and the paint.
