well guys, I rarely make writeups just because I dont feel I need to explain the reason behind a bet, but imo this game has GOY material all over it, you have a fiesty Mich St team that year in, year out is in the position to make lots of noise deep into the NCAA tourney, one reason Tom Izzo, the guys is absoulutely incredible, he getsevery bit of talent out of every kid he coaches...then you have a Northern Iowa team that will give you a fight no matter what the stage....the reasoning behind the play on Mich St is the experience, HUGE frontcourt advantage, bench, and of course Tom Izzo.
the only concern I have with Sparty is the fact they turn the ball over entirely to much, but UNI is not a press team so that should limit the turnovers with the loss of Kalin Lucus and Lucious running the point...if Raymar can get off to a hot start and Spartans play smart half court defense and limit open looks from three it will be a Spartens rout...
