Nov. 10. Wednesday

1 unit: 1-3 -2.30
2 unit: 1-0 +2.00
overall: 2-3 -.30

C of C +14 @ Maryland (1)

C o C had a really good season last year at 22-12. They return 3 starters from that team. One of them, Andrew Goudelock averaged 19.4 ppg an 4 rebs a game from a guard slot. All of these players are Cremins recruits as he enters his 5th season at the school with a record of 87-49. C o C guards are rated the top pair in their conf.

They also return 10 letterwinners who accounted for 73 percent of the team’s scoring and 65 percent of the team’s rebounding in 2009-10. I think they have what it takes to hang around in this game.

You already know what I think of Maryland as they got the cover on Monday night. I wanted to bet that game over also but no line on it. I guess the books are going to be selective once again and only put out totals for tv games.

I'm seriously contemplating the over in this one. That line has dropped drastically already from the open line. Kind of scares me but Maryland forces you to play quick and Cremins teams can also put up some points. If I go for it all post it.

LT @ Texas -20 (1)
over 143 1/2 (1)

Texas will pound inside as they have a huge advantage height wise in the paint. They also have speed on the wings and shot the ball real well in the second half. LT strength is their guard play. They were hurt hard by graduation as they lost Rolle (now in NBA) and a 4 year starter and leader at guard in Gibson. All 5 of LT's starters last year averaged DD's. As I mentioned in Monday's write-ups on Texas they blow away non conference opponents at home. Numbers don't usually lie. I think LT will play at a much faster pace than Navy the other night. Once Texas sped Navy up in the second half you saw how the points were put up on the board. LT HC Rupp recruits guards and wing players that can drive and shoot the 3. I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

good luck BB friends

C o C blew that baby. Easy cover though. I couldn't quite figure out why the change of pace for C o C. They let Maryland rest on D imo.

Texas may cover the spread but going over the total looks grim. Stranger things have happened though in hoops.

Hit both 1st half plays.

What I'm most disappointed in is that I backed down off Pitt. I almost played them tonight.

Looking forward to a explosive second half: I wish
