Not going to break it down, heading out in a few minutes, but the way I look at it, Michigan State has had one of the toughest schedules all year in which they are a very solid 8-2 vs ranked teams, simiar to UConns 8-3. These teams match up in alot of ways and I just feel that UConn is 4 to 5 points better then Mich St, and with this game being in Michigan, whether or not Mich St even has alot more fans at the game, you have to give them one to three points, depending on how much impact you think it will have, as they will no doubt be fresh and ready to go against a tough UConn team. Everyone is giving UConn too much love, and although I do feel they should win this game, I also feel that it will come down to the final two possesions, with possibly overtime or a buzzer beater. We shall see. All I really know is I would just much rather take the 4.5 points, then give them, in what should be a very tight game.

uconn should cover. They will play man defense make it harder to get open shots like they did against lousville when they ate up that middle of the 2-3 zone. Mi state plays man d too but Uconn better athletes will make the difference in the cover.

The state of Michigan needs something to cheer about and they (SPartans) seem to make everyone play their game. Doesn't really break down the game but I do think there is an advantage of playing close to home and if it's a close game that could work in Mich St favor

Despite me liking Mich St a lot, even to win. Because I know the real UCONN will come out either tonight or Monday.

I could also argue that it could put a ton of pressure on the Mich St players to play such a big home game in front of all their friends and family.

MichiganSt played at Ford Field earlier this year and lost by 35 to NorthCarolina. Don't know how much this home court advantage is going to help them, in fact I believe they have played their twice and lost both times.

In the NorthCarolina/MichiganSt game the Heels shot 6/19(32%) from 3 and the Spartans shot 4/17(24%) from 3. Final score 98-63

Thanks for the sympathy vote Jack but there's a lot of U of Mich fans that want to see State get thier ass handed to them..including me...but in all seriousness, State hasn't really had a "bad win" closest was gettin by USC (who barely shot 30%) and I'm afraid the atmosphere and a poss rough jittery start could unglue them...maybe I'm way off base but it wouldn't surprise me if UCONN wins by 8 - 11

the state of michigan hasnt been in the dumps that long. I mean the Red Wings, Pistons, Tigers, have all been solid in the past 5 years. Michigan football was not good last year but still solid in the past 5 years as well as MSU. Now the Lions are a different story but its not like Michigan has been that bad in sports.
