Oregon St./Stanford finish

Honestly, that outcome just screams fix?

It started with around one minute left, Stanford up by 4. Officials call a shooting foul on Oregon State with less than 5 on shot clock. Makes one, misses one, Stanford up by 5. Oregon St. attempts layup gets fouled, no call. Oregon St. chooses to not foul, Stanford makes jumper with 5 seconds on shot clock, up by 7. Again Oregon attempts lay up gets fouled, no call with 13 seconds left. Oregon st. then decides to foul with 7 seconds left. Makes one of two, Stanford up by 8. Stanford deflects a lackadazical pass out of bounds with less than 3 seconds left, Oregon st. throws the ball in and takes a wild 3 point attempt, game over. Stanford covered for only the last 7 seconds of the game.

It just looked fishy to me, Oregon St. didn't even look to get a shot at the end. If they were just going to run out the clock why foul with 7 seconds left.

Wow...thanks Rudy. Very disappointing as I had a little on the Beavers. I was following it on the computer between commercials of the Big East and Big XII games, as I was shocked to see the final score. I guess that would classify as a bad beat.

At least you didn't have to watch it. I was sitting in my living room and just about threw the remote through the screen. I need to get one of those foam "bad call bricks" so I won't endanger my tv.

Dude from Tech, Mike Singletary has scored 31 out of their last 33 points. He has 39 at the moment.
