Talking Pitino

awesome record in round 3 & 5

not so much without the 5 days of prep

food for thought

But players don't believe that style is the reason Izzo is 13-2 on the second day of NCAA weekends.

"One thing coach says is if we get through Friday, he'll get us through Sunday," Big Ten player of the year Kalin Lucas said.

Not sure he can pull this one off though, this would be one of his most impressive Final four runs if he does. Hope they give them a heck of a game, just think Louisville will wear them out in the end.

Have to give it to Izzo, he had an excellent game plan. 5th Final Four in last 11 years, pretty impressive.

Also think Uconn handles them, they can play a physical brand of basketball similiar to State, and they have better scorers.

Not to mention that giraffe they have in the middle to guard Suton. One interesting thing will be that Thabeet will have to guard him at the 3-point line, could open up the paint a little more than normal.
