Iowa is very good defensively. Not sure if SEMO plays zone or man. Oakland played alot of zone and Lickliter said it bothered them a little offensively because they hadn't worked against it much. Said they needed to work on making the right passes to the right spots on the floor to make the zone move. He knows what he is doing, but this is a young squad. Not sure what SEMO has back, but they usually have the ability to put up some points so I would think 18.5 would be pretty safe. Iowa will get better and better as the year goes on. Tucker is gonna be a stud and Cole, Kelly and Gatens are all going to be very solid fundamental players that will play well within the system. Tate is a threat to put up 15 points and grab 10 boards every night. I'd play against them early in the year and start grabbing them as a dog later in the year. Hope that helps.

Hey Windy, looked a little deeper into this game. It doesn't look like SEMO has much size inside to matchup with Tate. That would kind of concern me because he can have a nice game in the post when he gets going. Also not much size to keep him and Cole off of the boards. They start two small guards against Iowa who goes 6-3, 6-5 and 6-4 on the perimeter. The other thing I noticed is they really only have one guy from SEMO that puts up the 3 points shot and that is where Oakland hurt Iowa. Iowa doesn't give up the drive, that is part of their defensive philosophy they play. Check out the team report on yahoo for SEMO. They have had some turmoil in their program and the coach is suspended for possible recruiting violations. Just a heads up. That is a lot of points to cover, but could be some bad matchups for SEMO as well.
