rookie line movement question

ok this is going to sound like a rookie question and I'm a bit embarrassed for asking,

but I am a rookie and really haven't been paying attention to line movement during this season, (trying to learn how to pick winners first) but I have a simple question about line movement

Ok so the OU Michigan line is at 6.5. A large % of picks are already on OU and everyone in vegas especially all the spring breakers are already taking OU aleeady

So if the line stays at 6.5 does that mean that the books are fine with the line and feel that they are going to make a big score with the lack of michigan bets?

And likewise if it goes to 7, does that mean they know that they messed up and are trying to attract money to the Michigan side?
