Roy Williams.............. UNC................

Never thought this guy was that great when he was at Kansas... seems to be able to get the talent, just can't win the big ones... I know... I should temper that a little, but S... he's gotta be gettin the top kids at UNC right?

Is he on the hot seat? Hell Yes he is.. Better turn it around quick, or he'll be on the cold seat (park bench feeding pigeons)...

What say you mall?

BTW... Roy Williams as a sports name... If your name is Roy Williams, you will always under deliver...

All those Roy Williams are rich as far as money goes.

Yah, Roy is close to being gone, they wont take it much longer, dont know if they will give him one more season or not, they are as bad as Kentucky with patience... and the past doesnt matter. As far as the park bench, are you kidding, he only has around 100M, gonna be a very nice bench probably on his own personal island!

Just wish BJ would put up hoops lines for the day, its 10AM est!

Still think Roy has more than a few years . He turned the program around when he came there. Just a matter of getting the right combo to gel

Duck - meant he's be depressed on the park bench.. didn't say anything about money... just under -performing...

like the input... just see this and wonder wtf... just drawing comparisons to when he was at Kansas... Jayhawks still kind of have same thing hanging on them... can't pinpoint it though..

carolina fan here, I really think that carolina's problems are more to do with the lack of true guard play than roy williams. admittedly he's not the best x's and o's guy but I think he can coach effectively when he gets the right mix

To play his style ball you have to have bigs that can run and a great PG, they've had so-so bigs the past couple years after the title team left (yes, the whole team left). BUT Larry Drew SUCKSSSSS and he drives me crazy sometimes. He's nowhere near elite PG level, and his crap PG play brings the whole team down...

roy on the hotseat? please....I can't see that happening in the next few years practically no matter what happens. Get him an elite PG who can play uptempo and this team will go back to 30+ wins a year

I just couldn't believe they got blown out against Georgia Tech, when in fact they were neck & neck against Texas. This is so unlike a North Carolina team, and surprised that they are well mediocre at best.

Carolina has talent, but they obviously have no "team" concept right now since Roy just inserts a new 5 anytime the starters don't gel. They definitely have no guard play. Their bigs inside are very soft and passive in terms of taking it to the rack. Roy is clearly one of the most overrated coaches in UNC history. He is not any better than Matt Dougherty IMO. Go back and watch the GT game...they ran no offensive scheme whatsoever other than 'lets try and get it to Tyler Zeller some more'. And the worst part is GT runs ZERO offense or defensive and they looked like the Natl Champs last night. Unfortunately, Roy goes nowhere since he won a Championship, unless UNC misses the NCAAs for 3-4 years straight...
