Saturday opening lines which I ????

Temple and Duquesne Pick

Follow the Dukes alot, they traditionally have trouble with Temple. But, Dukes are playing very well recently. Was hoping to get points here.

Tennessee and Vanderbilt Pick -- should favor Tenn

Syracuse -7.5 over Cinncy -- will this one hold here?

Louisville -6.5 over Marquette -- should come down

Ohio St -19 over Penn State -- PSU isnt a terrible team.

St Marys -19 over Santa Clara -- should come down

Florida St -7.5 over NC ST

Iowa St -1.5 over Baylor

what are you thinking on those 2?

I really like OSU, though, tough coming off the Michigan game. But PSU is due for a PSU game. Lets not forget they got rolled 10 days ago by Purdue at home by 30.

Like the Louisville spot off the Nova loss and Market off the Notre Dame win where they couldn't miss and ND couldn't make.

i like marquette on the ML. injuries to swopshire and buckles hurt this team and i think marquette wins the game, at least stays within 7 points.

i have noticed this last year and this year so far. the early sat game 11am tip. home teams dont fare that well.

i was looking at that temple/dukes game. not a big duquense follower but i thought last year they would have a really good team and nothing special happened. i noticed they still have two main guys in clark and cant remember the main guy's name. but dont know about the rest.

yeah and that actually has been a trend for a few years now. that game worries me. it is more of a spot play than anything on Louisville.

looking for some ML favorites for tomorrow in the -120 to -300 range. If anyone really likes something post it.

i really do like Wisconsin tomorrow. I like them less with Illinois off the loss, but none the less i do think they win tomorrow. They are so solid defensively and honestly should have won on Tuesday in East Lansing.

If forced to make a play now, I would take Marquette + the pts. Do like the over as I dont expect either side to stress defense--more of a who will outscore the other type of game IMO.

I couldnt make a play on the PSU game.

When I see lines I ? I have to wait to see what happens with them before making a final decision. This is especially true for a Saturday. Also, because of the size of the card, I find that Saturday's require a different approach. The Saturday's where I have had bad days have been ones where I dont adjust how I am reading things. Smaller card, money and %ages are focused on smaller # of "popular" choices.

Saturday's arent the same to me. Heavy hitters will pick out lines they believe are wrong on games which arent "popular" on the large card. Once they hit them, the value is gone. Have to get on those before they move.

Been a long day, hope that makes sense.

Added post script: Any particular reason why you dont post your plays in college baskets?

Damian Saunders is the key to the Dukes. See him playing at the next level. Clark has matured alot this year as well. Plus, as opposed to recent years, this team has more depth which can actually contribute off the bench.

Duquesne looks like the pick in the 1st one by the line.

Tennessee and Vandy is about right imo...Vandy home court is big swing with oddsmakers it seems

Iowa State definitely looks like the pick. Don't know why they are favored in that one.

By the line in the Psu game it seems they are baiting us to take Penn State

waiting to see what the lines do can backfire on you. if you feel you have capped a game you like and see advantage in the original line, then you should take it right away. yes you may get a better line later on, but you also maybe taking a worse line later, when you had a chance at a better line right away.

case in point was the minnesota-purdue game. someone did post the night before that they see purdue falling in that game. and you could get minnesota +4 but if you waited till the morning, you were getting minnesota +2.5. so could be a lose situation to wait.

but then again you have the advantages of seeing what vegas thinks in term of betting percentages and reverse line movements etc if you wait.

How about NC St. first half... FSU should be a little flat after their upset of Duke.

Also as much as i dislike Temple (NOVA Fan) they are playing out of their minds this year. I respect RPM's views on the Dukes, but think temple rolls them.

After watching Louisville play on Wed. night, they shot lights out in the first half on the road, can only imagine what they can do at home. Over should be a good one in this game.

Wouldnt touch Penn St. Line looks like a trap.

Other games to look at.. Pitt over the Hall. Pitt playing awesome bball
Delaware over Towson
St Joes over St. Louis
Rutgers over G-Town.. Rac is a tough place to play and they played Uconn tough the first half the other day. G-Town overratted..

Good Luck today
