Saturday's Play !! I Like This One ALOT

so, I went 1-2 last night, leaving the "system" plays at 3-5-1. I believe in the fundamental underlying premise (play against teams shooting less than 40% from the field over their past 5 games). For today, the "system" turned up a ton of plays for even just the day games, so I decided to narrow it down and use that only as a starting point for my capping. So, after researching and capping the shit out of this, last night and this morning, I present to you my BIG play for Saturday, Houston -4 to Tulane. Here's why:

Both teams have similar records, but when you dig deeper you see 2 very different teams. Houston has lost 5 in a row. They hit a rough portion of the schedule, with 3 of those 5 losses coming on the road. At home this year however they are 9-3, shooting 46.1 percent from the field. At home, their opponents shoot only 38.6% from the field. Back to those 5 losses in a row for a moment. During that span they continued to shoot lights out, hitting 46% from the field. I know what that tells me. Now, they play at home coming off of a very tough 1 point home loss to Marshall on 2/1. At home this year Houston has beaten Nevada, UCF and Tulsa. Tulane blows compared to them. Houston is 13-7 ATS against Tulane since 1997, and 6-2 ATS at home in that time. Last but not least, Houston has revenge, coming off last year's 3 point loss to Tulane.

Meanwhile, Tulane has now lost 8 in a row. Over their last 5 games, they are shooting a laughable 38.1% from the field. For the season, they are 2-8 in the conference, barely shooting 40% from the field. On the road, they allow their opponents to shoot a whopping 48.5% from the field. That is for the entire season ! They are playing the second of back to back road games, coming off their loss at SMU three days ago. In all liklihood, they did NOT go back home (to Louisiana), and instead have been "chillin'" in Texas. A pissed off Houston team is going to take alot of frustration out today on Tulane. This one gets ugly.

Saturday's big play is Houston -4 to Tulane.

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?
