I don't post alot of detailed analysis for alot of my games, but I have 1 tonight that I really have an opinion on. Take it or leave it..

Take Virginia +6 against Duke



This line is screaming for you to take Duke and that is what I expect the public to be all over. There is no doubt Duke is one of the best teams in the league right now. However, they have not played well on the road as of late. They won by 1 point over a bad NC State team that had lost 6 games in a row heading into that game. Before that they lost their last 2 road games against Miami and Wake Forest.

Virgina is not very good this year, but they have won 3 of their last 4 and if they are going to have any chance of making the Big Dance they will need to get at least 1 more quality win during the regular season, plus do well in the tournament. I think they are going to do it tonight against Duke. They are coming home after 2 straight road games and I just think Duke is going to be a little drained still mentally from that NC State game. They are also going to want to avenge the last time they faced off in January and Duke won by 22 on their home court.

The home team is 7-0 the last 7 times these teams faced off with only 1 of those games being in Virginia 2 years ago. They finally got another chance at home tonight and I believe they not only cover, but beat Duke tonight in what should be a very emotional, fun game to watch.
