Still not gonna wager on the ncaa, but will still pass along the system/trend & info plays or insights.

No. 22 Butler Bulldogs at Davidson Wildcats

The Butler Bulldogs, (22-4 SU, 14-9-1 ATS, 14-10 O/U) have dropped two straight games while failing to cover the spread each time while the Davidson Wildcats (22-5 SU, 11-12-1 ATS, 8-15 O/U) are also coming off a loss the lat time they took the floor and have failed to cover the spread in two straight games as well.

While the Bulldogs are the nationally-ranked team in this matchup, I believe the outcome of this contest hinges on whether or not All-American guard Stephen Curry suits up for the Wildcats.

The junior sharpshooter missed Davidson's 64-46 loss to the Citadel on Wednesday and his status is day-to-day. Butler, which is coming off a 63-60 loss to UW-Milwaukee on Wednesday, is wisely preparing as if Curry will play.

If Curry plays, I say the Wildcats win by three to five points, if not, they’ll lose by the same amount. Keep a close eye on the line for this matchup college hoops bettors and an even closer eye on whether or not Curry plays. Expect the Wildcats to be favored between 2 and 5 points.

South Florida Bulls at No. 1 Connecticut Huskies

The South Florida Bulls (8-17 SU, 13-11 ATS, 11-12-1 O/U) stand absolutely no chance of beating the top-ranked Connecticut Huskies (24-2 SU, 10-10 ATS, 7-13 O/U) in this contest. The only thing for college hoops bettors to figure out is what the final margin will be. The Huskies are averaging 76.6 points per game compared to the Bulls’ 60.2 points per contest. UConn is also limiting its opponents this season to 61.1 points per game. The spread for this matchup should be somewhere in the neighborhood of 14 to 17 points. If the spread is under 16 points, I say take UConn to cover. If it’s over 16 points, 17, tops, I say the Bulls find a way to cover.

No. 6 Memphis Tigers at Texas-El Paso

The sixth-ranked Memphis Tigers (23-3 SU, 17-8 ATS, 10-14 O/U) hit the road to take on the UTEP Miners (16-9 SU, 13-8-1 ATS, 12-8-1 O/U) in a matchup they will almost assuredly win, coming into this contest riding a convincing 17-game winning streak that includes an equally impressive 4-0 ATS record in their last four and 9-1 ATS mark in their L/10 overall. While the two ballclubs are averaging an almost identical 76 points per game, the Tigers are allowing just 59.0 points per contest defensively compared to UTEP’s 72.2 points per contest. Take the Tigers to cover the spread if it’s 13 points or less. If the spread is over 13 points, I say the Miners cover.

DePaul Blue Demons at No. 4 Pittsburgh Panthers

The DePaul Blue Demons (8-18 SU, 3-16 ATS, 11-8 O/U) have lost a whopping 13 consecutive games and stand absolutely no chance of beating the fourth-ranked Pittsburgh Panthers (24-2 SU, 13-6-1 ATS, 11-9 O/U) in this contest. Not only have the Blue Demons lost 13 straight but they’ve also failed to cover the spread in six straight games and 10 of 11 overall. The Panthers are averaging just about 14 points per game more than DePaul while allowing 10 points per contest less than their counterparts and should win this game by somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 points. I know that sound like a lot of points, but considering Pitt spanked DePaul 92-69 on Feb. 7, on the road no less, I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility that they’ll be favored to win by at least 23 points. If the spread goes over 26 points, I guess you gotta’ take the Blue demons to cover, however, I’m thinking the Panthers are looking at a 30-point victory in this matchup
