THE Sports PROFIT...CBB Thursday

Good Day Ladies and Gentlemen:

We won 3 of 5 plays last week for a modest but PROFITABLE gain of +1.39 units to get us back to our winning weekly ways.

A slow week thus far with no plays as we are treading lightly.

Short and sweet, let's get to the action:

take: LSU Tigers -1.5 -110...2 units...vs South Carolina Gamecocks, GAME TIME is 1 p.m. e.s.t.....I was looking forward to this matchup all week as I have watched LSU down the stretch (as I am a fan of the school), and this team has been strong in the late going after a year that could be deemed as an underachievement. However, they have went 4-1 in their last 5 games, and 5-0 ATS and are playing solid team ball. This team is a top free throw shooting team which helps them win close games and are getting double digit scoring from 3 key contributors. South Carolina is a soft team and doesn't rebound well and is a little thin. Very winnable game here for LSU and we are on it. Play to -2.5 because of the possible line movment due to the tight timelines. 2 units

strong consideration: UCONN -1.5
Xavier -8.5

cheers, PROFIT

LSU asleep at the wheel midway through first quarter went down 10. Luckily Marcus Thornton woke up and finally brought his game in the last 2 minutes of half scoring 8 pts and grabbing 2 offensive boards. Sloppy 1st half, LSU down 37-34.

It's OVER...3 min left and LSU choked it away. Came into this unprepared to play. 15 turnovers to their 6, 3 steals to their 6, 5 assists to their 15, and they were winning with 5 min to go. A missed opportunity indeed. ouch.
