A pleasing start ...

4-0 (+5 units) yesterday.

These to start for Friday:

2* - Utah St. (+5; -120) ... the loss of James for Marquette is a problem, not just because of the points he puts up but becasue he is the best shot creator the Golden Eagles have. Utah St. is young (only one senior starter) and have noone with NCAA tourney experience but sometimes ignorance is bliss and a game in Boise means that they will be well supported (emphasis on the "well" as Aggie fans can attest).

1* - NDSU (+10) ... popular play here but I'll bite, if only for the home crowd advantage and the Jhawks lack of strong wing play/outside shooting to complement Aldridge.

1* - Noles (-2) ... too big, too athletic, too much - Badgers go home.

GL Guys!

I LOVE THIS GAME!!!

Recap yesterday: 0-1 (-1.2 units)
For the Tourney: 5-3-1 (2.5 units)

Tough slate yesterday. Like the dogs today:

2* - ASU (+3; -112) ... really looking forward to this game. Think ASU's 3-2 zone scheme slows down Cuse and lets them control the game. Need Harden to rebound with a big game ... think he does.

2* - Marquette (+4; -120) ... Pleased to see James will be back and expect that to provide an emotional lift to the Golden Eagles. Just can't buy into Mizzou, nice season but think their missing that killer instinct.

Leans towards Louisville, Dayton, Ok. St. & USC but lets see how the first one goes.

Enjoy mallers and good luck!

Well, I've blown my perfect start but enjoying the hell out of the tourney again.

A bunch tonight:

2* - Xavier (+8) - Pitt just rarely seems to put the hammer to teams and have notoriously been shakey in recent years when the big games loom large. Don't think Xavier is getting enough respect here with over 60% of the money on Pitt.

2* - Mizzou/Memphis Under 141 - D-D-D!

1-1 yesterday (-0.2 units) ... shouldn't have forced the Memphis play but oh well

Today:

2* - Zags (+8)

2* - Michigan St./Kansas Under 138.5

GL Mallers!
