His stats and reasoning are just such a reach, so irresponsible and stupid They go thru a slump and take a horrible loss and all of a sudden theyre fixing games Sounds like the writer or twitter-er or whoever lost a lot of $ on that game and he's pissed total garbage

Maybe in the smaller schools/conferences, to much at stake for the big schools/conferences to do!

It wouldn't surprise me at all. Where better to do it then in the Big East where losing conference games is no surprise...even Syracuse losing to Seton Hall. It's already happened at BC in 1978. One of the games involved was BC vs UCLA. Can't get much bigger than UCLA basketball. The following year BC became part of the Big East Conference's first year.

Only posted the link because original poster asked if anyone had heard anything and that was what popped up when I searched. I agree the article is pure speculation and looks like its using facts from up slump to draw conclusion on "shaving". To the poster that says it wouldn't happen in a big conference the last point shaving scandal I can recall happened at Ariz. St. which is part of the Pac-10.
