No poll, but would like some opinions.
I think they're still a #1, no matter what anyone else does. I think same goes for Kentucky & Kansas. If West Virginia & Duke (or OSU or someone else) both win conference tourneys, could they both be #1s and steal one from Cuse or one of the others? |

if nova wins the conference tourney, they would get hyped into a number 1 seed possibly. no other big east team would get a number one seed.
Kansas is a number 1 seed regardless Kentucky is likely a number 1 seed regardless Duke wins the ACC and they are a number 1 seed. so therefore, Cuse will still likely get a number 1 seed. Loooooooooong shot #1 seed would be if Kansas State won the Bog 12 tourney. |

villanova finished 4th in big east, no chance at #1 seed imo, no matter what they do - finsihed season 4-5 lol
WV maybe what about Ohio State? Last edited by upinya83; 03-11-2010 at 02:10 PM. |

wvu not nearly good enough to be deemed number 1. just throwing nova out there for arguments sake since they have been hyped all year. cuse still probably gets it regardless

plus if onauaku (sp) is injured, cuse is no longer a #1 seed team, that might be deciding factor Last edited by upinya83; 03-11-2010 at 02:19 PM. |

wv and ohio st are only teams i could see winning their way to the 4th no1 seed
IMO, syracuse is still way way way better than those 2 squads...... i still think it'll be uk,kansas, syracuse, duke(unless maryland wins the acc, which i think they can)

OhioSt I agree with you but not WV. What happened to the Cuse in the past 2 games will mean nothing to them and probably the best thing that could of happened to them today was losing this game and giving their injured players a week off now instead of playing in what really is a meaningless tournament to them. At worst they end up a Number 2 seed and I don't think the Cuse care one bit whether they are 1 or 2 when I still believe when healthy they are one of the top 2 teams in the country with Kansas.

honestly better question is who are the number 2 seeds??
lets assume Kansas, Duke, Kentucky, Syracuse #1s I say Kansas State, winner of Big 10 tourney, Maryland if they go to ACC championship, and winner of Big East tourney |
