Temple @ Duquesne Help Please

Guys I will be honest I'm a sucker for these trap games. I really haven't followed either of the teams that much except I know about Mr. Fernandez for Temple and he can really light it up. Can anyone tell me why this line is so low. Temple being ranked 19. I understand it is at Duquesne and that has to be the main reason. Are they really good at home? This just spells trap city and tells me to take Duquesne. Any thought?

Thanks and good luck today

im actually taking temple today. cant see anything to see a dukes win actually. temple owned them last year on temples home floor and dukes havent beaten anyone good this year.

line is fishy but both teams undefeated in conference play.

At first i liked temple, but as soon as the Dukes went to a favorite they fall into a system i normally play... Play on the unranked favorite at home against a ranked dog.

I agree with this ... After looking at Duquesne schedule I'm not sure I can really lay anything on them. Wow I want to go big on temple, but will pry end up staying away as I have learned over the years to find value and not mess around with traps. Appreciate the feeback guys.

On surface level lots of folks arent going to give the Dukes a chance. But, this isnt one of your old Dukes team from the past. Been slowly rebuilding this program.

Dukes havent played anywhere near the same level of competition as has Temple. But, Dukes are playing as a unit and are playing their best ball of the year to date. I am sure they have had this one circled on the calendar since the beginning of the season.

Dukes have 5 guys who shoot 40% from behind the arc. The emergence of Clark playing his best ball this year coupled with Saunder's all around complete game have made the Dukes a pretty decent club. Monteiro, McConnell and Tally have all been contributing as well. Biggest factor IMO, Dukes have more depth than they have ever had in recent memory.

All that said, Temple is a team which seems to give the Dukes trouble. Ramone is the scoring engine for Temple, as he goes so does the team. If they can work in the paint and control the glass, Temple can make life rough for Duquesne. 3 big keys: rebounding, Dukes keeping Saunders out of foul trouble, and how well Dukes Freshman guards Tally and McConnell perform in this game.

Thought Temple should be a 2-3 pt fav, now seeing Duquesne as a -1.

FYI--the greek has not had this game on the board for the last 15 minutes. Not sure why as it is available at other outs.
