Texas vs. Kansas St.

Everyone is on K State in this meeting. I'm not. Texas does have a history of losing here on the road, and has had trouble on the road in general. However, there is a big revenge factor here for Texas. They have lost some tough ones at Kansas St. including a 1 point loss as 8-point favorites. Both of these squads have taken down a great Kansas team this year and have been hot ever since.

You can notice a big swing in points with Texas dependant on the venue they play in. Any away game seems to swing more than the usual 3 points their way. In this matchup, I rated this matchup as Texas -2 on neutral ground. I will take the 4-points and look for a game decided at the buzzer.

2 Units* Texas +4

Longhorns are playing for a possible #1 seed and Barnes will have his boys ready for this one. Getting four points is a really good number right now as most shops have +3.5 and it just went to 3 a Pinnacle which was immediately followed by BetJamaica, The Pig and Ledgendz. WSEX still has a ML of +150.

I agree with you here. Most the services and mallers so far seem to be on kansas st. but I am unfortunately on the public side of this one as well.

texas +3.5 (bodog line)

Perhaps a lot of mallers are on KSt., but not the public. As of 2:00PM EST... SI has 68% on Texas, with Carib at 62% (on Texas). At the same time... line opened at 3, but is now up to 3' at many shops (I even see one 4)?!?!?

To me... this is a classic trap. JQP is saying... "Shoot, 5th ranked TX at 23-4 has been playing great (7-0 SU & ATS in their last 7). Unranked KSt hasn't been playing well lately (3-4 SU & ATS in their last 7)... AND TX is getting points! Texas is a LOCK"

At KSt... TX hasn't won ATS since 3/4/00. Furthermore, KSt is 6-0 ATS in their last 6 matchups with TX. I locked in early at KSt-3, and would LOVE to see it up to 4 - 4' by game time (especially if the public betting patterns remain the same as they are now - or become even more skewed toward TX).

GL to all!
