Trap Game??
I've come up with the following theory about the labialization "Trap Game".
Though we try our best to distinguish between finding value in a line and whether or not the line is a false value intending to manipulate bettors, we may never really know. Post game we are quick to label a game outcome vs. line value as "that was a trap" but is determined by "Tevon" having a hot hand or some other during-game factor. Although "Vegas" (professional line setters) may have the ultimate in understanding what value to give a line and are willing to adjust it to meet certain money flow controls, once the ball is first tipped, kicked or pitched they have no more control (assuming the refereeing and player efforts are honest) over what happens than my dog. Hence, I think the awarding of the label "Trap Game" is something we do to diversify blame/fault from its true owner, our-self.
But then I could be wrong,

I’d be interested in your thoughts………..
