Upset of a Giant Killer

A month and a half ago this would look like any other mid level college ball game. Two mediocre squads going at it down to the wire.

But since St Johns has become Giant Killer the last 9 games Dominating top teams and over course of the season beating 6 ranked teams.

It must be a nice feeling to be on top of the world before entering the conference tournament and the BIG DANCE.... Everyone feeling elated for knocking off Duke, Pitt,Uconn (among others).

Sometimes u just feel unstoppable......

And others.... well u get full of urself.. let up.. and the competition prepares for a grind out game, while you under-prepare because they arent Duke or Pitt.

Tonight Seton Hall will make St Johns bite their lip while coasting.

I am prepared for a wire to wire blowout but I know its March so I will take the 2.5 pts and be happy if and when a buzzer 3 from st johns gives them a stealing win.

Risk 160 Seton Hall +2.5

Seton Hall 1st half +1 Risk 40

Final Score Hall 72-62

I hear you Stash. I like the Johnnies, and I find myself rooting for the local team. That being said, this line is more than a bit shady. The local papers keep talking about how SJ need only beat Seton Hall and So Florida to earn a top 4 seed in the Big East tourney--and a double round bye into the semi's on their own court.

GL buddy.

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

Well the game panned out just as I planned. Seton Hall was excited to play and played well above their level and St Johns played with very little enthusiasm.. not to mention the 12 3's helped quite a bit.

Wire to Wire domination

2-0
