VCU v. Old Dominion
What are the chances that Old Dominion goes into this game caring less about winning this tournament and VCU getting in, so they can have 3 teams in the NCAA tournament
George Mason and Old Dominion are in the tourney. Old Dominion doesnt have much to gain, maybe seeding by winning, but VCU has everything to gain. or do you think that Old Dominion will play their hearts out knowing its a championship game? personally think ODU is too good for VCU but something tells me that CAA would be extremely happy with a VCU victory.

haha im not saying its logical. but in the CAA's mind, having 3 teams in is better than 2. so maybe the refs may be a little biased?

Having watched a lot of the Colonial tourney games - especially the VCU/Drexel fiasco - this is a "good for the conference" situation and you have to take VCU. VCU has been getting handed this tournament.
On the VCU/Drexel game, not sure why any of the Northeast schools bother coming down there. Its year after year with that garbage. Especially with Drexel. I believe the foul shots were 27-3 in the second half. Nonbiased comentators saying that maybe they shouldn't be calling all the fouls on Drexel. A lot of funky stuff goes on in these smaller conference tourneys - look for end of Bucknell - Lehigh last night for another excellent indicator. No dog in the hunt - just have been following colonial ball for years. More of a Mason fan then any of them. Will root for VCU, ODU, and Drexel against almost anyone as well.

there is ZERO chance that ODU doesn't care about this game and the CAA wants 3 teams in. ZERO. if VCU wants to win they are gonna have to play their ass off, plain and simple.

There will not be 3 teams from the CAA in the Tournament regardless of the outcome of this game.
