Wednesday's Haze (City Game)

This is most likely the biggest game of the season for the Dukes. Pitt and Duquesne meet for the 35th time at Igloo and for the 78th time in series history. I'd be a whole lot more comfortable if this were at Palumbo. Pitt owns a 46-31 all-time record in the series and is 20-14 vs. the Dukes at Mellon Arena. Pitt has won 27 of the last 30 overall games against Duquesne. Pitt has claimed each of the last eight matchups by an average 16.8 points per game margin. A win on Wednesday would give Pitt its ninth straight win over Duquesne, which would tie the Panthers' series record for most consecutive wins over the Dukes. Without Melquan Bolding, the Dukes chances are diminished but not gone with eleven players, including eight of the top nine scorers return and that includes long-distance sharpshooters Bill Clark and Jason Duty. Both teams are pretty abysmal from the charity stripe (Duq:61% Pitt:65%). Pitt is finally ripe for the taking right now..........

Probable starters for Duquesne:

No. 32 B.J. Monteiro 6-5 G/F So. 14.0ppg 6.0rpg
No. 30 Bill Clark 6-5 G/F Jr. 18.3ppg 6.5rpg
No. 25 Damian Saunders 6-7 F Jr. 16.7ppg 15.5rpg
No. 13 Jason Duty 6-1 G Sr. 7.2ppg 3.2rpg
No. 3 Eric Evans 5-11 G So. 8.0ppg 2.8rpg

Probable starters for Pitt:

No. 35 Nasir Robinson 6-5 F So. 9.3ppg 5.5rpg
No. 52 Gary McGhee 6-10 C Jr. 8.8ppg 7.5rpg
No. 22 Brad Wannamaker 6-4 G Jr. 11.2ppg 5.2rpg
No. 12 Ashton Gibbs 6-2 G So. 15.2ppg 1.2rpg
No. 1 Travon Woodall 5-11 G Fr. 9.3ppg 3.7rpg

The Igloo was the world's first major indoor sports stadium with a retractable roof.

Duquesne +6 (11U)

Duke -4 (8U)

Dayton -3 (2U)

St Louis +3 (6U)

San Diego -1˝ (2U)

GOOD LUCK
