Played these for tomorrow, listed in order of strength:

St Louis -5 (4) over Fordham -- it opened at 4.5 and I bought the hook, now sits st 5.5 so you can get 5 by buying the hook as well. -5 for posted record purposes

Virginia Commonwealth -12 over Georgia St -- yes, Geor St is improved and can score, but they are also the kind of team VCU can blow out. VCU's pressure defense coupled with Geor St's propensity to be loose with the ball is a lethal combination. Only way Geor St stays in this is if they shoot very well and are able to solve the VCU defense by working in the paint. Also, Geor St a bad FT shooting team.

Boston College -9 over Virginia -- this one opened at 10 and has come down to 9. Dont think I will get a better # on this one.

LaSalle +7 over Duquesne -- Opened at 7 and saw 6.5 and 6 when I started this writeup. Hate to go against the Dukes but I have to in this spot. Both teams like to push the O and the Dukes are better defensively. But, LaSalle has the ability to take advantage of the one weakness the Dukes do have--LaSalle has an advantage in the paint. If they are patient, unlike Temple on Saturday, and make this more of a half court game, Dukes lack inside big man depth to counter LaSalle's size advantage. Also, even though Dukes handled Temple easily and are on a 5 win run, they have been turning the ball over more in their last few outings. Dukes will probably win but I dont think they cover.


Have a feeling will be looking at about 7-8 plays tomorrow. Do have 3 or 4 others I like but will wait on line moves as a couple will likely go in my favor.

Notre Dame is the logical choice..but, I think the line opened low. Are the books looking for ND money? Just looks too easy to me at this time.
