what teams would be able to beat Syracuse's Zone

conference tourney and march madness time is coming up and i was thinking of matchups in terms of offensive schemes and defensive schemes. i came to syracuse's 2-3 zone.

i dont know what would give syracuse the most trouble, is it a dominant post man that can pass. gtown really did ok with monroe and then at times they were terrible.

is it dribble penetrating guards??

or

is it hot outside 3 point shooting??

not sure if anyone is really good here at the in and outs of bball, just wondering from a technical standpoint, what matchup would be bad for cuse.

it doesnt matter about any technical standpoint

the only team that can beat syracuse is syracuse

if those boys play to their potential, easily a top 3 school in the land

if they are running on all cylinders in march- watch out !!!!!!!

Thats how PITT beat them at home,"We did a good job of sharing the ball and finding open teammates in the right spots," said Gibbs, who tied a career high with six 3s. "I was just taking what they gave me."

And a dose of Pittsburgh. "I think the game was decided with just the physical play," Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim said.

normally pentrate and kick

a hot team from 3 pt land has historically given SU a tough time. Sweetleaf was spot on.

Teams that typically give 'Cuse problems are ones with a dominant big man to occupy the lane and a team that can shoot the 3 over the top of the 2-3

This is the best 2-3 Coach B said he has ever had because of their length at the top of the zone

nova can def give them problems but not sure if nova is good enough on the boards, their weakness is def the bigs. Mich St might be another good match up if they are on.
