Who thinks they should do away with conference tourneys?

I do lol.

There is some miracle team that makes a run that usually has no business being in the bracket. I'm sure there is atleast 10 teams that are better than Georgia.

What do the conference tourneys prove?

10 teams better that Georgia? How bout 100 teams better! I like the conference tourneys. There is something about the atmosphere and the chance for some of the small schools to have that little bit of hope.

No, because it gives teams that otherwise wouldnt have had a chance to make it a shot to get in with a great tournament run. **** the bubble teams...if they wanted to get in, they should have won their conference tourney or not lost to shitty teams earlier in the year

Conference tourneys are great! Isn't this what we want for football? So what how they did in the regular season - it's about the postseason run!

I love it

If you get rid of conference tourneys because some miracle team may win, why not get rid of the NCAA tourney, where some miracle team has a chance to win?

I like the tourney's they give the teams may start slow but come together during the year a chance to make a run at the end of the year and get in the big dance.

why do people want to reward mediocrity

if Arizona State, VT, UMASS won their games, they would be in

its their fault

I agree

A team like Colgate probably doesn't have the power or funding to boost their strength of schedule like other power conference teams. However, they keep their eyes on the prize and win their tournament to know they have a bid. Bubble teams have no one else to blame for being on the bubble.

I thought this year was well picked.

I like the tournament idea

It gives non-power conference schools the chance to play David and Goliath, if only for a couple of hours. And this way even if a team stinks it up during the regular season and would normally be eliminated half way through the year, now they have a reason to not give up. And in sports you just never know what could happen. Look at George Mason a few years back.

I love to watch underdogs in the tourney, but what I hate is you play 30 games throughout the season, but one miracle weekend and you get in the field of 64. You most likely already played that team twice. You should be rewarded for what you do all season and not a miracle week of BB, right?

and truly how many miracle teams have done so?

Not arguing ....just asking...I know the Villianova and NC State team was not considered that great but they do come from respected conferences and nobody argues each team deserved to be in the tourny
