I would just love if Bob Knight would end up there, as much as a lot of Big blue nation that disliked him when he was at IU. If offered he would take it in a heartbeat as he would get a shot at IU for a couple of years while their down.jmho.......

Why would Cal leave Mem where he is already 3rd or 4th highest paid coach and does not have to deal with the pressure??

Recognition...already gets it. Prestigous program...was, not to recruits now days. More money...memphis will match it. Better facility...don't know. You never know though.

exactly. Things have changed just like in football. Just bc a school has history they think they can repeat that history year in and year out...not gonna happen. Kids now days don't care about "history". It is what have you done lately.

As bad as Kentucky was this year, Still a Top 5 job nationally in prestige.

They will be turning away more high profile applicants than recruiting. Would not be suprised if Calipari was considered, but still think Donovan would be the choice if the move is made
