why?
how come in college basketball on the free throw line the players are not standing in the first block ??? this is prolly a dumb question but never noticed b4 yesterday

I saw it too and didn't understand why they were doing it. I'm not sure what game I was watching. I don't know of any college rule that is differant than pro or high school. I am going to try and find something.

I noticed it in the Miami/Texas game I think but also did not think it was a rule although both teams were doing it so not sure

It is a rule that was changed this year thats why the players stand there . There are also talks they might do the same think in the nba next year.
