Why is DUke only -8.5?

I had this game capped at around 15. St John's is mediocre to bad. Just don't understand this one

Might load up on the Dukies

Very interesting:

- Duke is 10-9 ATS as a favorite this year / Yet, they are 4-1 on the Road as favorites
- St. John's is 6-11 ATS / and they are only 3-5 ATS @ Home
- Duke is 8-4 ATS in non-conference games
- St. John's is 2-6 ATS in non-conference games
- Duke is only 12-23 v. Big East Teams ATS since 1997 / whereas St. John's is 16-14 in that same stretch
- St. John's is 1-4 straight up in their 5 games
- St. John's is 2-0 ATS v. Duke last 3 years

- Finally: St. John's leading scorers Dwight Hardy and Justin Brownlee have struggled during the last three games. Hardy is averaging 9.0 points and Brownlee 7.7 in that span - both numbers 5.5 points below their season averages. The Red Storm shot a season-low 33.9 percent in a 77-52 road loss to the No. 21 Hoyas on Wednesday. And clearly Duke is going in the other direction - Duke has won four straight since its lone loss, 66-61 at Florida State on Jan. 12. Star guard Nolan Smith is averaging 24.5 points and 5.8 assists during the win streak, and he scored 28 in an 84-68 win over Boston College on Thursday.

Also keep in mind that there will be a split crowd and possibly clear majority of duke fNs as there are tons of duke fans in ny and they come out whenever they can see duke live
