ok, well anyone that knows me knows that I dont throw this term out lightly. This is my 3rd year posting at CM and 3rd GOY. Im 2-0 and looking to make it 3.


20* NORTH TEXAS -12.5


North Texas is just 11-5 at home this year ( 6-2 their last 8). They are 2-0 vs FAU in Denton TX. UNT finished the regular season winning 6 of 7. FAU is 0-17 on the road this year They have clearly given up. Their last two road games they have lost by 27 and 20 and to Savannah St by 13 UNT beat them by 9 earlier in the year but that is when UNT was struggling overall, but I believe now they are clicking on all cylinders which was projected for them in pre-season talk as one of the faves. Since 2005-2006 UNT is 49-13 at Home. FAU 4-13 ATS in conf play this year.

UNT is better than FAU in just about every statistical category. FAU is one of the worst shooting teams in the Sun Belt, one of the worst when it comes to defensive eff, forcing turnovers, and rebounding. The one thing FAU can do is shoot FT's as they lead the SB Conf in FT%. UNT is one of the deeper teams in the SB having its bench outscore opponents 811-572 avg about 28 pts a game from its non-starters. FAU did get back one of their best Players in Monroe, but might be without one of its starting guards Nwoji because of a hip injury and has been playing without their second best player all year long.

Predicted Score: 84-66
