Nice jam-jam. I was just gonna post the same thing--found it on pomeroy ratings. APB's opponent SOS was ranked 3rd, I believe, whereas Winthrop's was ranked much higher (80something, I think)

More reason to like Taxas T tonight; "The Pirates also have some added turmoil they don’t need as forward Robert Mitchell was dismissed from the team for remarks he made against head coach Bobby Gonzalez. He told a reporter that “it's hard to stay consistent as a player, when the coach isn't consistent.” While this may be an isolated opinion, there is the possibility that it is felt by others and Mitchell was the only one who spoke out. This is something you don’t want to hear at any point in the season and even more so during a one-and-done scenario."

Do not get caught up in those numbers, Granted they did play an unreal non conf. but that being said their SOS was 275(with that great first eleven games included). It does not matter who you played, if you were not competitive these games they were never in. Now with the conference record(including conf tourny) they went 17-4, good run. But we must look at who they beat. The conf. does not compare to Winthrop's. The conf total record was 102-173 the best team they beat had a 17-16 record and an RPI of 275(without the first eleven they would have had one of the easiest SOS, somewhere in the mid 300's). Winthrop on the other hand had a SOS of 240(not much better but did beat teams with a winning records). Their conf was not much better either with a record of 128-143. Winthrop also ranks in the top 35 teams with FGA% and Pts Allowed.
Think ARK PB will be lucky to score more than 50 pts. Winthrop wins wins this one with a cover.

GOOD Luck

I'm adding Jackson St......Miss St will not be ready to play after there crushing loss to Kenty and 4 games in five days.....big play on Jack St. I know it sounds crazy but no way r they mentally ready tonight...cross state rival...biggest game of a lifetime and they play a few really good non-conference games!!!!!

I played Northeastern, William & Mary and Mississippi State. MSU is laying 21 points, but I think they really blow them out tonight. William & Mary I think wins straight up, and I think NE loses in a close game and covers the number
