this isn't necessarily good news for marquette...gotta figure he's got no legs, and it could mess with team chemistry and current rotation in a negative way. can't blame james for wnating to play, and it's not as if rookie coach would have the stones to tell him no. but it's now a no play for me whereas i leaned marquette beforehand.

Sorry Unc, but I disagree with virtually every point you make and do not understand why this news would cause you to back off of your Marquette lean.

That is awesome! Good for him man, last thing you want is the senior leader sitting on the bench for his last games

Uncfelix ,

That seems to be the way things go as I remember them also.
I am staying
off this game also for same reasons.

Ty Lawson looked like shit yesterday, in the first half! Pumped in 23 points for the game. So you never know.......

good point on lawson but his injury was not considered season ending at the time.... i have seen players return from injury and other players have bad games trying to get the injured player back into the mix of things. all i'm saying is it creates an unusual scenario, and anything different than the usual puts a team at risk. i hope they win, i'm a big east fan and i have marquette doing well without james. he's overrated anyways and the fourth best player on this team when he is healthy.
