X's Friday Picks
First post of the new season.
First up the Vandy/WVU game. 3 units Vandy/WVU Over 141.5 (-110) This game is going touch the 150's as WVU has upped its pace a bit this year and Vandy always want to run and gun. 2nd play goes tonight
3 units Minny/UNC Over 154 (-110) UNC's high tempo offence is back and this year they can actually score. Minny has some firepower also. Minny is shooting 3's at 35% rate and UNC is at 53% what makes these shooting %'s even better is that both teams give up 3's at a 33% clip. UNC is going to control the tempo and Minny will get down early and have to speed themselves up to have a chance at winning. Good Luck!!!

2 units Davidson/Nebraska Under 134 (-110) Nebraska has one of the slowest tempos in the nation and like to wear their opponents down with suppressive defense. I don't see Davidson getting to 60 points today and I do not see Nebraska getting to 70 as they will be in front for the 2nd half and really drain the clock on every possession. Good Luck!!!

2 units Alabama/Seton Hall Over 137.5 Seton Hall as everyone knows loves to run up and down the court and Alabama has a history of getting sucked into playing high tempo basketball with teams like Seton Hall. This game should get into the mid 140's. Good Luck !!!

2 units George Mason/NC State Under 139 Two teams that play slower tempo games. NC State has scored 85 and 82 points in the two games that they have played but those two teams play a much faster tempo game then George Mason As well as being a lower grade opponent. As for George Mason their two games have totaled 118 and 134 both under the posted total and against weaker teams compared to NC State. I don't see this game getting to the 130's
