Young teams fwiw

crunching some numbers while im sitting here watching end of Duke game, very interesting... there were 9 teams in the tourney that had at least 3 considered starting players classified as freshman or sophs and at least 1 of those was a freshman, 7 of those lost first round (WF, FSU, WV, BC, OSU, Butler, VCU, UtSt), 1 lost second rd (Michigan) and 1 still left to play, Kansas. Overall, there are 14 teams in the tourney that have at least 3 fish or sophs in starting lineup, 1-10 making it past 2nd rd so far, only Purdue (0 Fr 3 So.) has made it past the 2nd rd so far. Remaining to play 2nd rd games, Michigan St (0 Fr 3 So), Ariz St (0 Fr 3 So), and Kansas (2 Fr 2 So).

Out of all division 1 teams KU is something like the 16th youngest team IIRC
