Lightbulb 10 things we've learned after NFL week 9

1. Looks like the Colts move one step closer for the right to draft Andrew Luck. Don't buy in to the notion that Peyton Manning will have anything to do with this decision.

2. Looks like the Giants are for real and you can argue that Eli Manning is a top 3 quarterback in the NFL right now. You can also argue that Tom Coughlin deserves votes for coach of the year (half way through). Eli for Rivers looking like a smart move now?

3. Baltimore is the new "cream of the AFC" this week. And no, I am still not buying the Bengals. They are a good team but they've played no one.

4. Both the Bears and Eagles are playing for their playoff lives tonight. Stick a fork in the loser.

5. Norv Turner has to be on the hot seat right? Other coaches could be looking for work soon are the same Jim Caldwell, Jack Del Rio and Tony Sparano (in spite of big win).

6. The Chiefs made Miami look like Green Bay and made Matt Moore look like Aaron Rodgers. Not a good sign that the Chiefs are the best team in Missouri.

7. I like the Niners, I like Harbaugh - but they are overrated as a 7-1 team. That said they will probably get a bye and home game in the playoffs and that makes for a dangerous team.

8. Detroit will beat Green Bay on Thanksgiving!

9. Really enjoyed watching that bastard Nick Saban lose a big game

10. Packers predicted Super Bowl line -10 over anyone

2. Left some things on someones cutting room floor

Pats have no D and IF they make the playoffs, will not win one again

Pats have no speed at WR and can't stretch the field to allow the RB's by committee to be effective

Pats once again, are overrated

13. Phillip Rivers has become a complete and total head case. San Diego also has one of the worst front offices in the NFL.

12. The Chargers offense scored more points than the Green Bay offense. San Diego still wins the AFC west.

14. Darrelle Revis is the best defensive player in the game right now and its not close

and I will agree that the player most important to his team which is the definition of the MVP is Peyton Manning

They might but the fact that KC is on top of that division (or even tied) shows how this has become a weak division. SD should still win the division - agreed

11. Time for all Bills fans to jump off the bandwagon. Most important game of the year and the Bills get man handled by the Jets.

12. After watching the LSU/Bama and the Steeler/Raven game on consecutive nights I know why I prefer the NFL, the intensity of the games cannot be matched.
