I've got to say... wow, what a tough board next weekend.
Im not going to make something out of nothing as Id rather just enjoy the games.. They look like they'll be close matchups but you never know whos going to get their doors blown off in a surprise.

Im doing one thing saturday and thats a 3 teamer. Its all I can come up with....lol. (for now)
I dont have a grasp on the lines set as they are right on.. and damn tricky!

Saints -.5 Can they lose? of course! Unlikely though. It is a mismatch and the experience and toughness of the New Orleans will be the difference..

Jets +12.5 Almost like them outright. This tricky Jets team has everyone hating them for sucking at life.. They'll thrive as the bad guys and keep this one close.. I think the most they'd lose by is 10-11 but it should be closer.

Jets/Colts U 54.5 I'd like to think that the Jets will want to run the clock on their drives and not shoot out.. a real grinder of field position and hopefully the game stays close. Manning will get his scores in but the Jets D comes to play..


Gonna have to really like something else if I'll have another play....

my playoff thoughts..

I am a big Pats fan but hate when people say we are arrogant and all that jazz.. anytime you support a franchise as successful as the Pats your gonna take some heat. Fact of the matter is Brady is the best at what he does and the team is envied by owners, players and coaches... because they win.

In a way it also sucks because the team is always in a position to "let down" because they are in the hunt for a title every year. And when they lose on Saturday or Sunday in January, it really really sucks... But as I've gotten older the heart ache dies quicker and because I've wagered on so many games over the years, I am a little indifferent to home teams..

That being said, unlike last season, this team really impresses me in all three phases of the game. They are smart.. which I like the most. I'm not going to get into numbers and stuff because your gonna hear all that from ESPN and other sports media kissing their ass as the favorites just so if they lose they can play it up as the biggest letdown ever..

In case you haven't bet the NFL in recent years, they really dont pay attention to that stuff.


I surely dont think they are a lock or anything but they have beaten the best teams in the AFC.. (my opinion of KC is not very high..posers)

And they'll have been home for nearly a month.. (last game was home vs miami)

The offense will be very hard to stop given the amount of prep time and the defense has been great down the stretch..
Well rested, well coached, at home in possible elements..

I guess it has the makings of the Chiefs getting a big one and done win in the playoffs.. Much like Seattle last night. You would thinkg they won the Superbowl already..
The Ravens havent impressed me too much over the course of the season. I've seen some "tired" play from the defense. Im not "all in" on this team but they have to be better than the Chiefs.. right??

Another thing that scares me a bit is a final much like last night. A 1-2 point finish.

All that said, i've got to think the Baltimore is a better team.
You can make the Seattle argument but the NFC is a much weaker conference.
Ravens move on.
