Curious as to why you are picking the Cowboys. Do you like that they are practicing on their on while the strike is going on ? Just curious. They have a ton of speed on the team that is for sure. I think it will come down to Tony Romo and that scares me when picking the Cowboys. GL

First off Romo, is one of the most talented QBs in the league, athletically he is very gifted

They wont win despite him, they will win because of him, hes not a liability at all.

A GM once said he had his choice of pro sports, including golf.

The Cowboys without him, finished the year 5-3, after beginning 1-7, largely due to a new culture set in by the new HC

Amongst those 3 losses in the 2nd half of the year, are a 1 point loss to Arizona, and a narrow 3 point loss to New Orleans and Philadelphia

New Defensive Coordinator for the upcoming season will continue the momentum set in last year with the new culture. And they will have a healthy Romo back. Who each year improves.

Looking at their schedule for next year

1 Sep 11 DAL @ NYJ

2 Sep 18 DAL @ SF

3 Sep 26 WAS @ DAL

4 Oct 02 DET @ DAL

5 Bye

6 Oct 16 DAL @ NE

7 Oct 23 STL @ DAL

8 Oct 30 DAL @ PHI

9 Nov 06 SEA @ DAL

10 Nov 13 BUF @ DAL

11 Nov 20 DAL @ WAS

12 Nov 24 MIA @ DAL

13 Dec 04 DAL @ ARI

14 Dec 11 NYG @ DAL

15 Dec 17 DAL @ TB

16 Dec 24 PHI @ DAL

17 Jan 01 DAL @ NYG

11-5 record, should be good enough for one bye in the playoffs..

A very dangerous team that I see as the best in NFC, except Green Bay...

but Green Bays odds are right on at 7-1, they should meet in the NFC Championship

Like the faith. If they don't dabble in the FA market and acquire some serious secondary help they are screwed. Also, Tyron Smith better be able to play and play well from day 1....

They should honestly be at 25-1.....I agree with you on Romo. Nice to hear a sane opinion on the guy.

The only problem I have will Dallas is that Romo thinks with his cock, not his brain. I do not think he is a good Qb. he has the talent, but not the mentality needed to win. GB is the obvious favorite, but Atlanta and new Orleans cannot be discounted. Those teams are better than Dallas. +1700 is nice, but Dallas is not one of my plays. There are better values, like New Orleans at the same price, Atlanta at +1400, Pitt at +1000, and Baltimore at +1700. All odds that I posted are rounded off, and posted by the Greek.

Baltimore I like, and New Orleans slightly less than them, but Atlanta has zero dynamic offense

way too vanilla to win in the playoffs, predictable...

Dallas is great value as the 2nd best NFC team IMO

2-0 +4.4, with two pending with little chance to go +0.4

Surprised you didn't buy any Dallas @ +6600... or did you ? I actually took a bit there, and I know you liked them more than I did. We will see what happens tonight... they really should win, but this team just hasn't come together this year. They were a much better team the last 3 years when they were healthy/full strength. One thing we have going for us is that they are pretty healthy when compared to other teams. If we can just get these guys in its a whole new ballgame. I do have some saints/falcons too... we just need the Packers to go down somehow... again.. IF dallas can win tonight.. lets cross the fingers

I played the Texans +2500 as well, and I feel your pain. Really sucks what happened to that team specially with such nice price we got. What is even worse for me is that my big future this year was on Ravens, and for most of the season I figured I would have them both as high seeds.
