The 3-2-1 Picks of the Week (Week 6)

*** (3 Units) Philly -1.5
This is just something I feel strongly about. I've watched both teams closely. Redskins have beaten some really crappy teams (Cardinals, Rams) and an inconsistent Giants team. Their only loss was to a 2-2 Cowboys team that was injured like hell and they still couldn't win in the crunch time (I put it on Grossman). Philly has outgained pretty much every team they've played offensively but they keep turning the ball over. That will eventually stop. Vick went off in DC not too long ago and I see it happening again. Eagles win. Wish I would've jumped on them when they were +1. As long as Grossman is the Redskins QB, I will never fully believe in them as a true contender. They have a great D and a solid running game but ultimately you need a QB who can win some games.

** (2 Units) Cowboys +7
Too much love for the Pats with this line. Cowboys coming off a bye. Romo always plays well coming off a bye. Cowboys are finally starting to get healthy as well. Pats have an awful defense (that Chad Henne managed to carve up) and an amazing offense that will score and score big. I'm not saying the Cowboys win, I'm saying they will cover.

* (1 Unit) San Fran 49ers +4
I was super high on the 9ers earlier this week but I'm starting to feel like I could be wrong about this one. I just don't buy into the Lions as much as everyone else. They've beaten some questionable teams. I include Chicago in that statement. Chicago's line is so bad, I'm surprised the Lions didn't beat them by more. I like what Harbaugh is doing in San Fran. I went back and checked out their game against the Bucs and Alex Smith isn't just a dink and dunker - he's actually taking shots and is pretty accurate. I'm not saying he'll keep it up, but I do think the feel good undefeated streak for the Lions comes to an end very soon and this could be the game. Again, earlier this week I had this graded as a 2 unit play but I've slipped it down because I ultimately don't trust Alex Smith yet. I love their defensive line, I love their running game, I love their special teams play and I even like their Receivers but until Alex Smith proves he won't lose you games (like Grossman), I can't bet big money on him.

Good luck fellas!

GL Pacpie

Not sold on Dallas. I think the line is where it should be. Line was -9 versus the Jets a division opponent last week who have played them strong in the past, now the Boys are getting only 7.
Bye week doesn't mean much. Teams with bye cover 51%. Dogs with bye only 48%. 30 straight wins at home for NE not a good spot for Dallas IMO.
Really like the San Fran pick.

I agree with you about the Pats winning outright. I don't think the Boys will win. I do believe Dallas will cover though and it will be a tight game until the end where I have to avoid a Romo pick 6.

And thank you all for the gl's. Appreciate it!

Thanks Nac.

I think I'll pass on this game. Literally a coin toss to me. I hate Chicago so by default I want to Minny to win.

Back tomorrow for some Monday Night action. GL to those who have action on tonights game.
