3 teams could have beaten the Pats ?

Ok after sobering up and thinking back on this game I believe that the Saints, Packers and the Giants could have beaten the Pats in the Superbowl. Its very obvious to me that the NFC is more dominate then the AFC. Patriots never beat a good team all season. Sure they beat the Ravens but the Ravens were beat up from Houston. The Pats got to the SuperBowl because their coach and organization are cheaters. Hopefully this is the last we will hear about the Pats for a while. Tom Brady just proved that he is not an elite QB such as Joe Montana. His best days are way behind him.

I'm not a big fan of Pats. Hate them. But

How'd they cheat this year?
Did you not see Montana in KC? Decline is inevitable and sad but Brady right now is still one of the best QB even in decline.

When one elite QB beats another elite, does that take away their elitness? Lol

No reason to cheat this season

Jets, Dolphins and Buffalo..uglies

9 teams allowed fewer points than Pats, and Jets and Denver were not among the 9. Doubt they would have made it past 1st round in NFC..even 49ers may have beat them.

the tide has gone out on the AFC

Really Steel a QB (Brady) that has thrown 70 td's & 16 Ints the last two years in regular season is done...hmm.... high standards indeed.. Meanwhile Eli threw 60 & 45 ints... short memories for many.. Giants earned it but layed the ball on the ground 3 times and were blessed to get them all back..

I was wrong make that 4 NFC teams that could have beaten the Patriots. The 49ers can be added to the list.

Believe what you want but my guess is we will not see Brady in a SuperBowl again. Yes all players decline but many people here thought he would win this game and he didn't. He does not look like himself out there. Great QB but his best days are behind him. It was a nice run while it lasted.
How did the Pats cheat ? Ask the Ravens enough said.

All this coming from a guy who said Troy Polamalu is over valued.

Yeah Brady had 5000+ yards passing this season, 18 players on the Patriots roster were undrafted and 29 players on the Pats roster were drafted in the 6th round or later. Dont know how many of these were on offense but thats what Brady had to work with. Hernandez and Branch had a couple of big drops in the 4th as well but Brady cost them the game..come on.

I said in the last two year he has been.... sorry Steel.. he has been.. Last two years he has had the HIGHEST completion rate vs being thrown at.. 62% of the time he was targeted he gave up completions.. Ranking dead last in the NFL.. Invisible at Denver.. Horrid vs the Pack in the SB.. May return to his glory days but last two years vs the pass ... nothing special.. Still very good vs the run at times (his splash plays)..

I agree that Brady's best years are behind him, but he is still a quality QB and has a few very good years left in him. Also , the Pats have 4 draft picks in first 2 rounds this year, so look for them to be right there again next year, especially in whats become a weak AFC...

By the way, were you drunk a few weeks ago when you stated that Brady was the best QB in the NFL hands down? He went from the best a game ago to a non elite QB now. That's quite a turn around...

The NFL could be in a stretch like it was in the 80's with an NFC dominance over the AFC in Super Bowls.

Look at all the top QB's are in the NFC. The AFC has a declining Brady and a declining Manning (If he plays).

Pat's need to look into the future. The have a young core of tight ends, running backs, old receivers and an old QB.

I'm telling ya this team will not win another Super Bowl in the near future.
