49ers trade QB Shaun Hill to Detroit for a 7th round pick

The Lions have themselves a new QB, as it appears the team will likely sever ties with Daunte Culpepper, as they have traded with the San Francisco 49ers for Shaun Hill: The Detroit Lions have a new backup quarterback, acquiring Shaun Hill in a trade with the San Francisco 49ers.

I can't believe the 49ers actually got something for him. Now I hear they are signing PacMan Jones and the GM is either being forced out the door or quitting to go to Green Bay. Every site has a different story and SF isn't talking.

30 something days before the draft and this sh!t is going on in the front office? Not good at all...especially since this team is knocking on the door. Have a GOLDEN opportunity with the #13 and #17 picks in the 1st round. In a can't miss situation....
