Which aging vets have had HOF careers?

We think higher of them when they are playing then after a few years looking at the numbers, but if some of these great receivers have trouble getting into the HOF, are guys like Terrell Owens, Moss, Hines Ward worthy? What about a former MVP in McNair? Is Warner a lock? Just some things I was thinking about......

Hines ward is on the fence. The guy is prob one of if not the best blocking WRs I have seen but that isnt going to get him in. Think he has 70 Tds thats not going to get him in. He does have a decent amount of 1000 yard seasons band 4-5 pro bowls which are the most overrated stat in football. He prob has 3 years left 3 more 1000 yd seasons and the guy is right there. WRs always have a hard time getting in hell look at Carter and IMO Carter is better than Ward. I like the guy so would like to see him get in but this will not be a 1st ballot or prob not a second he will have to wait this out

Warner is a lock. Moss could have been the best WR ever, but had a couple down years which will hurt him.

not that i don't agree with you, but what he does have going for him is that he's got better numbers than both stallworth and swann who are in the hall and has 2 super bowls...1 of which he was the mvp.........and absolutely carter was a better pure wr than ward

can't imagine warner doesn't get in and even with moss having some bouts of doucheness i can't see him not getting in either....and if moss gets in, how would TO not

"Papa Smurf" played in a run-oriented offense most of his career and has twice as many Superbowls as Moss and Owens combined, Let alone being MVP of the Superbowl. Better playoff stats then both as well.

Nat an arguement at all. As I stated I like the guy but his numbers as a WR adef on the fence right now whicg could all change in 2-3 years. Still no way a first ballot HOF though
