Man this is extensive and good info for this Lg. I watched 2 of the games on CBS sports and they were both blowouts . I must say players looked like they were playing hard and wanted to be there. More than you can say about some NBA players. So I was impressed with the new Lg and the games played. I must say I found it entertaining and I will watch it. Even though they had replay in the booth and still blew a call.
What does everyone else think?

For me no mourning whatsoever if his happens-I would rather watch a kid's pick-up game than this garbage played by lots of impostors..

Majority investor: Alliance of American Football in danger of being discontinued without NFLPA help

Sportsbooks across the country took down odds to win the AAF title game after hearing of the announcement.

Multiple books will refund all wagers on futures bets, including those on the Memphis Express and Atlanta Legends (teams that had already been eliminated from postseason contention)

The Orlando Apollos were -110 favorites to win the AAF title at the SuperBook before odds were taken down Tuesday

Fan Duel Sportsbook has declared the Apollos the AAF champions and agreed to pay out ALL futures bets as winners, not just Orlando.

The move will cost the company "a little under $10K"

I really hate this because all of the games were still being televised/streamed. This is a pouting contest because owners still have not burned through cash.

I am sure they lost money the first year...most businesses do but they needed to show relevance to the NFL and they were by trialing different OT, replays and timeouts.

I think both parties are dumb. I am not going to say I watched or bet on every game but I did enjoy it and even liked some of the football.

On to golf and baseball now

A theory goes that Tom Dundon folded the AAF so that he could take the business’ technology and use it for his own purposes.

There’s only one problem with this.

Even though Dundon’s $70 million cash investment bought him the majority of the parent company that owned the AAF, Ebersol Sports Media, reports are Dundon does not own the technology under Ebersol Sports Media’s tech arm called Legendary Field Exhibitions.

When MGM invested money into the AAF’s tech business last June, it included a provision that would give MGM the rights to own the tech if the AAF went out of business.

Sources confirmed the deal after The Action Network discovered evidence of a financing lien filed with the Delaware Secretary of State.

The lien, filed in October, gave MGM rights to the technology’s intellectual property, including trademarks, copyrights, patents, software and firmware.

An MGM spokesperson said nothing has changed since the original filing, though the filing itself was never publicly reported and obviously wasn’t applicable until the league suspended operations on Tuesday.

MGM’s investment came with a three-year sponsorship of the technology. The league’s app, which allowed fans to project what would happen next, was talked up by some AAF insiders as a legitimate side company.

While the real-time projection of what would happen next resided in the league’s app, MGM had planned to have live in-game betting for AAF games in its app, something that never came to fruition.

A legal source said that even if Dundon filed the league for bankruptcy, the lien would put MGM in the driver’s seat to own the technology
