Have the Patriots become the evil empire of football?

Think the overall NFL fan base wants New England to win?

Over 18,000 votes on Sports Nation with 78.2% rooting for the Giants. My guess is a good chunk of the 21.8% on the Pats are actual Pats fans

I think this number is probably even greater than this if you took away gamblers and Pats fans!

root for and think will win, are not the same thing. Saw this morning on ESPNNews that the percentage that thinks the Pats will win is 59% (down from the other day when I saw it, when it was in the 60's).

I am no way a Pats fan, and could care less about the Giants, but am SICK of all those crusty Dolphins players toasting each other after a NFL team fails to match their undefeated season. Time to put those a-holes to bed IMO. GO PATRIOTS!!!

It’s a myth. Supposedly there is a group of less than 6 who actually do this but you can bet they are rooting for the Giants this week!

Couldn't root for the Giants for anything in the world. Dislike Eli manning because he had to hand select what team he would play for. Just another John Elway cry baby. Not to mention that the Giants are in the NFC which means they are not even the second best team in the NFL. As much as I hate to say it, " GO PATS" !!!!!
