Am I a hater...or do others want to see San Diego crash and burn this weekend vs KC ?

Not sure why I even care? I think i got tired of hearing how the Chargers always start out slow and then come back and win the division. How they are considered such a great team with the record they have. Rivers is Christ-like, SuperBowl contenders, etc...

Probably not going to happen if Cassel doesnt play but it would make me feel all tingely inside. Its probably like most people feel about the Steelers, but its not like i have any grudge against the team or anything, like Baltimore or New England? Or RJB for that matter...lol
I just hope they lose for some unknown reason. Anyone else feel this way?

Kansas City at San Diego, 4:15 p.m. ET (CBS)

The line: Chargers by 7˝

The story: I'll make this one simple: If the Chargers lose, it's over. For the first time in five years they won't win the AFC West, simple as that. If they win, there's hope -- especially with Kansas City playing at St. Louis next week, then hosting Oakland in the season finale -- and their chances for success just improved with an emergency appendectomy to quarterback Matt Cassel.

If Cassel doesn't play, and I can't imagine he does, backup Brodie Croyle steps into the lineup, and this is what you need to know about him: He's 0-9 as a starter. But don't be deceived. The Chiefs have a shot because the Chiefs have the league's best rushing game. And if San Diego couldn't stop the Raiders' running attack, tell me how it will stop Kansas City's.

I don't know that it can, especially when I see Jamaal Charles averaging a whopping 6.2 yards per carry. But the Chargers will try and they must -- they absolutely must -- succeed. Because let's be honest: If you can neutralize Charles and Thomas Jones, you force Croyle to beat you. And he hasn't beaten anyone in his career. The Chargers have the league's top-ranked pass defense, so make him play from behind, and maybe you make him make a mistake.

It won't be easy. Nobody is better protecting the ball than Kansas City, tied for the league lead in fewest turnovers with nine. But then again, nobody is more desperate than the Chargers, and desperate teams at home are dangerous teams.

Something to consider: The home team has won 20 of the past 29 games, but the series is so close that, since these two started playing, 12 games have been decided by one point

RJB has made this forum hate the Chargers lol

I'd like to see Dwayne Bowe get a catch this week, decides he wants to not show up 2 weeks before my FF playoffs and making me nervous

I've gone thru Portis, Torain, and Williams, no longer have any I'm done with the Wash RB situation, not even bothering to pick up Davis. Torian and Williams did well for me their 1st 2 games, and then sucked and now Davis is the starter. Locked up the division 2 weeks ago but I'm worried about Bowe with Cassell, is Steve Smith is gonna be a factor next week....

I personally don't hold alot of merit in what the Raiders did last week running the ball against the Chargers. That game looked like the perfect look ahead game watching it, it was almost as if the Chargers forgot they still had to show up last week to beat the Raiders and not just throw their jerseys on the field and they had the win and could get ready for this week and the Chiefs. The Chargers D this year is 5th against the run in average yards/run and rushing yards/game and last week IMO was just one of those things that is going to happen if you don't show up to play and again watching that game that is what it sure looked like.

Well...I respect that RJB loves his Chargers.
I might move up several 100 spots on his members hate list! LOL

Yea they set lines like that because you instantly think I can lose by 7 and win. Been noticing lines that are -3.5 and -7.5, the fav usually covers.
