Vick has already proven that he can't win in the NFL. Its one game and no one should lose their job to an injury.

Andy Reid is a stubborn son of a bitch. Kolb has been waiting to take over for the last 3 years and they are going to give him a chance. Even if Vick is by far the better option. Dumb.

For the long haul I think several teams have to start developing new talent. What Vick did back then was amazing but age has caught up to him and when teams get film they will make him look like an average QB at best. JMO

Eagles have a lot more weapons on offence than the falcons did back then. The only receiver he had was a tight end.

Its going to be Kolb's job unfortunately, he has been waiting and they traded Mcnabb so Kolb can be the guy. I personally think it is the complete wrong decision however. Mike Vick has really shown what he is capable of when surrounded by weapons the last 2 weeks against a really good Packers defense and an improved Lions d. His numbers thus far are really good both throwing and running and he needs to be in there, but wont be. He is clearly there best option if they want to win football games, but its always tough to take a job away from a guy due to an injury.

Kolb will have a short leash. Vick will be back behind center by week 5! I think the fans want him on the field. I know I do. Im a huge fan and will always be a Mike Vick fan!

He is 30 years old and only played 6 years in the NFL. Age has not caught up with him and definitely not a factor...

Age has caught up to him. They like a few other teams need to move forward with youth.

Agree, age not a factor at all. Watching the past 2 games, in full, he looks as fast as ever, and his escapability was ridiculous today. The offensive line was terrible and he got sacked 6 times, but it should have been 10, he was dead to rights repeatedly and he would spin out. Guy is as fresh as can be, has nothing to do with age, look at his numbers, do they reflect a tired, old player at all? No, if he didnt go to jail, we'd be talking about this being his prime right now, and it shows.
