AP to address 'fumbling issue' in off season

article in Star Trib today

Is fumbling issue something that can even be addressed, or once player shows predisposition to fumbling does it stick throughout career? I don't think anyone will dispute that AP is exciting player and extremely talented, but as Vikings fan I found myself cringing everytime he touched the ball. At this point I would rather trade AP while he has high value and go with reliable chester taylor as primary back. Taylor doesn't fumble, can catch well out of the backfield, and is a solid back that won't put it on the ground.

How many key games will AP's fumbling lose before the Vikings are better off without him?

Can't see them trading him though but to answer your question, maybe this last game was enough

how many times do you think he has been coached to forget about breaking that last tackle?

it doesnt matter he instinctively runs "angry" he looks for contact

gotta take the good with the bad with this guy

Don't worry if Favre switches teams next season you won't have to worry about AP fumbling the ball.

In regards to Chester he actually has a history of putting the ball on the turf as well. Just didn't happen much (if at all) this season and has only had one season as feature back.
