Bears Resign Biggs
The Chicago Bears took a big step to keep their defense intact by resigning OLB Lance Biggs to a 6 year deal today. The Bears are still in need of a solid WR, having lost Berrian to the Vikings. It would be nice if they found a decent QB also.

Nope. This signing means Briggs couldn't get what Rosenhaus told him he could get. May as well stay home.

True, they are linebackers, but Briggs can't play the middle.

QB is the least of their problems/ They need O Linemen, bad. Already cut two old guys, Miller and Brown, so that's 2 starters they have to replace. They passed on offering Berriam any doe cause they knew he would get big dollars, but NOONE thought he would get $ to make him the 4th highest paid WR in the NFL.

They will get active in the F A biz after all the big money of others has been spent, and AFTER Urlacher gets a new deal.

Too bad it isn't Cliff "Trade him to Carolina for a 6th rd pick" Harris, who set records for Caro with forced fumbles, tackles etc. May have been Angelo's worst move, considering Brown's history.

The Bears are in big trouble. Hard to believe this team was in the SB in 07. If they give Urlacher a new deal then I know they are clueless. Most overrated player in the league.
