BetFirstClass “You are the Linesmaker” Contest

Based on a discussion in the NCAAF Forum yesterday, I have decided to offer a fun little contest to see which posters might have a knack for predicting the NFL opening lines for next week’s games. The winner will receive a $100 Free Play deposited in their BetFirstClass account.

You must have signed up for an account at BetFirstClass and you must email me your BFC Account No. and your CM handle prior to posting your prediction on the opening lines or you will be disqualified from the contest. For those of you who are not already BFC customers, when creating your new account, be sure to select “CappersMall” under the “Referred By” tab on the sign up page of the BetFirstClass website. No deposit is required to participate in this contest but you must have a BFC account.

You can post your line predictions for every NFL game of Week Four, at anytime between now and 5:00 pm EST on Sunday but be aware that if I find these lines posted at any offshore or Vegas book before the deadline, I will post in this thread that no more entries will be accepted. Hopefully, no one will try to cheat over a $100 Free Play if they happen to find the lines available before I do.

Here is how the contest will be scored:
Predict the exact line: 5 points
Predict line within 1: 4 points
Predict line within 2: 3 points
Predict line within 3: 2 points
Predict line within 4: 1 point

No points for predictions that are off by more than 4 points and the poster with the most points will win the $100 Free Play in their BFC account. If there is a tie, the prize will be split accordingly.

Please post the name of the favorite and your prediction of the opening line for each game played in NFL Week Four (i.e. Dallas -9). We will use the opening lines at BetCRIS for grading regardless if another book posts them sooner than CRIS and we will assume -110 for all games regardless of the odds that CRIS puts on them.

Say Farve snaps his femur during the 1pm game and it totally changes the line, I think someone posting at the last minute would have an advantage. I would make the deadline 1pm on Sunday.

You are trying to predict the opening lines that the oddsmakers will come out with. I think that if Favre snapped his femur, they might take that into consideration.

I know Judger , I'm just saying it will be best to wait until the 1pm games are over to see what happens. Thanks for the contest , looks like fun.
