Better talent evaluator, Al Davis or a drunken monkey?

Not that there was much doubt, but we can all officially say this man has lost his marbles.

1. He drafts Heyward-Bey. He may end up being a fine NFL player, but no one was going to draft him at that spot. If you liked him, trade down and draft him in the 20's where he would have surely been available. Scouting report suprisingly, Fastest WR in the draft, Suspect hands

2. Then they draft a safety Michael Mitchell from Ohio who was the 47th ranked player, not in the draft, but at his position . I saw info that two NFL personnel types had him, one as a 7th round choice and the other as a premiere free agent type. Al takes him in the 2nd round. First ever player not invited to the combine that was drafted.

3. Heard on "Mike and Mike" this morning that Davis came into the draft room and ripped up the teams evaluation info and said they were going with his info.

We know he has at least one fan in Heyward-Bey who made literally millions on moving up at least 15-25 spots, depending on who you believe.

If you didn't like your teams draft, at least give thanks you're not a Raider fan.

By the way, saw some fan wrote on a blog that he didn't want to leave the house on Saturday on the chance Davis might be calling to draft him next

That is really a tough one to call. I mean, Al Davis has years of experience running a NFL organization, but the drunk monkey has an I.Q. about 100 points higher than Al Davis's I.Q. I think that Davis would have the edge, but he is so pumped up on drugs to keep him going that the monkey wins overall. Not only that, but the monkey does not look like death warmed over.

Almost the dumbest. Not quite as dumb as San Diego's picks. How does one entire division screw up so badly in a draft? San Diego and Oakland were terrible. Denver did little or nothing to improve themselves with all of their picks they got from Chicago. They desperately need defensive help, so they take Moreno. Kansas City takes a crap shoot with Jackson, instead of the safe play that was Cruuy. The rest of their draft was nothing special. 7 wins may be enough to win the AFC West this year. They obviously are the weakest division in the NFL.

i love the logic behind the hayward-bey pick

if they throw to him 6 times, all deep balls, every game

2 catches, 2 pass interference, 2 drops

its a success and they got what they wanted, lmao, love it. ur 1st overall pick, 25-30 mil guarenteed, is a decoy.

so a basic hayward-bey day is 2-80 lol

Drunken monkey has the early lead, it appears

Welcome to the National Football League, rookies. Next time, maybe get more water and do more stretching before practice. Wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey, the seventh overall pick of the NFL draft, missed a second straight practice Sunday with cramping, soreness and fatigue in his hamstring, Raiders coach Tom Cable said at the conclusion of the five-practice, three-day minicamp in Alameda. So ended a splash-less debut for Heyward-Bey, who was shut down by Pro Bowl cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha on Day 1 and dropped three consecutive passes on Day 2 before coming up limp. Heyward-Bey got in a few deep routes, and made a few catches, but made it clear that, as with most rookies who skipped their senior year in college, much work remains

I hear that the monkey is accusing Al Davis of taking a banned substance. He takes so many just to keep him alive that one of them has to be banned.
