Betting on this Steelers/ 49ers game probably a bad idea...steelcityplayers!

This is an interesting match-up but only luck can determine a winning bet.
There are too many variables.
Wagering on this game, side or total, is in every sense, a true gamble...
I don’t think that anyone can bet this game using logic because there are so many uncertainties. Most noticeable is the fact that Roethlisberger is a game time decision. He says he is going to play but could decide in the pre-game warm-ups that he is not up to the task. He probably will give it a go, but how long he will last is anyone's guess? He may do great and throw 5 touchdowns like he did vs. Tennessee earlier this season with what looked like a snow shoe attached to his injured foot, or he may take a hit in the first offensive series and be done for the game leaving the decrepit looking Charlie Batch to finish the game. Center Pouncey is out with the injury and the Offensive Line has issues regardless. Roethlisberger lives for this type of game and wants to be the injured hero, which he is capable of being as we have seen in the past. His incredible record in Monday Night Football is un-deniable. Charlie Batch may be capable of beating San Fransisco if Ben doesn't play, although it would depend on other variables such as how the Defense plays for Pittsburgh and if they can run the ball. Nobody thinks they can run the ball against the 49ers and that’s probably exactly what they will be able to do. The Steelers are a tough team to bet for or against because you never really know what to expect and they have a knack for doing what they are not supposed to be able to do, and winning games they aren't supposed to win. Losing games they are supposed to win is also a part of the Steelers forte.
A far as the total goes...same deal.
If Roethlisberger can play a complete game, this game could easily go over.
He is going to throw the ball away before taking a sack so that could cut down on the scoring. The 49ers aren’t a big play offense but down give up the turnovers. When the Steelers don’t get turnovers the total normally stays under.
The 49ers may be able to run against the Steelers? Lamar Woodley is back in action but how fast can he get off the line? Harrison suspended. Willis is out for San Fransisco, their best defensive player?

I guess that’s enough said and I skipped many other points.

My advice is do not bet on this game, it’s not logical.

My thoughts are that #1 Ben Roethlisberger gets the start, aggravates the ankle at some point and yet the Steelers somehow pull out a win with Batch at QB in an ugly defensive struggle.
17-16 Steelers
Steelers +3
Under 38

Or

#2 Ben Roethlisberger gets the start, does what Ben does and wins in dramatic fashion.
27-17 Steelers
Over 38

Or

#3 Ben doesn't play and the Steelers lose in an ugly defensive struggle.
San Fransisco 17-13
San Fransisco -3
Under 38

My best guess is the first scenario, but that’s what it is, a guess.
You can’t solve a problem if you don’t realize all the factors.

BEST BET= DONT BET IT

You may be right skins, lets see what happens?
They are in the playoffs regardless and could rest Roethlisberger and take the #5 seed risking worse injury or play him and hope he doesn't get worse and be the #1 seed. Either way I trust Tomlin knows what he is doing so lets see what happens! thanks for posting bro
